SCOPE-RD GAA arranged a public awareness counter on the occasion of republic day 26-01-2020 at parade grounds, Khammam.
The GAA counter consists of IEC material (Pamphlets, brochure, big posters) and also displayed books and handouts. As a part of the Republic day celebrations, the SCOPE-RD GAA team arranged a counter at parade grounds, Khammam.
SCOPE-RD GAA team and Youth Advocates from YAAH Khammam utilize this opportunity and awared nearly 1000 members about the consequences of child marriages and child trafficking and also the importance of secondary education by distributing GAA IEC material.
GAA team visited other line departments counters and sensitized them on the GAA themes and girl child issues. This moment was captured by the electronic media personnel and asked us to have a public talk about GAA activities in their channel, GAA team gave voice about the objective and the activities of GAA to create a child friendly Khammam district.
