On 27th July 2019 SCOPE-RD GAA Khammam, organized district level consultation with media and line departments in prevention of child marriages and child trafficking. 40 reporters from print and electronic media and other line department officials participated in this consultation.

- The role of media in prevention of child marriages and child trafficking.
- Interactions between the departments and media to bring out the suitable solutions for making use of different platforms to make advocacy and lobby with higher officials through press coverage and articles.
- Media personnel assured to give much more importance to the girl child issues like child marriages and child trafficking and publish more articles to influence the Govt officials, public, and public representatives.
Output: With this media advocacy, we can cover and influence a mass range of people in the society, through articles and press coverage for the safety and welfare of the girl child in Khammam district.
In continuation with that as a part of their contribution media personnel publish the article sand stories on girl child issues which can influence the government officials in resolving the girl child issues.
