CHILDLINE 1098 has been conducting programs in all the schools across the districts to bring about awareness on child rights at grassroot level
CHILDLINE conducted an open house at ZPHS Puttakota village , Khammam rural Mandal. Open house was organized to take the issues of the children to the notice of concerned officials and to come up with solutions.
Sub Inspector of Police Mr. Sai Ramana says “The public should alert CHILDLINE officials by dialing 1098 helpline number if they come across any incidents of violation of child rights. The helpline would be available round the clock.
Assistant Labour Officer Mr. Jaya Prakash advised the public not to encourage child labour as it an offence under Law. Similarly, child trafficking and sexual harassment on children were punishable offences.
